The Tri-Cities Amateur Hockey Association (TCAHA) strives to attract the finest in youth volunteers, leaders, and hockey coaches who hold the highest ethical standards for all decisions, promote the well being and growth of youth athletics, and provide a financial foundation for the maintenance and growth of youth hockey. We are a proud member of USA Hockey. USA Hockey has over half a million members and provides the infrastructure for our programs. TCAHA is also under the umbrella of the Pacific Northwest Amateur Hockey Association (PNAHA). We are proud to be associated with these organizations and all of their members.
TCAHA is dedicated to the maintenance and growth of amateur hockey in the Tri-Cities, while striving to be one of the premier athletic associations in Washington. All members, volunteers, staff, and parents come together with a common passion for hockey, each constantly working to maintain, improve, and enjoy our programs. These programs are designed to provide all players with a fundamental base in technical and tactical skills along with an appreciation for the game of hockey.
Our players enjoy the bonding experience they have with their teammates from traveling and competing together. Our competitive rep players compete with the best amateur hockey teams in the northwest through our PNAHA League and other tournaments.
Tri-Cities Amateur Hockey Association is a hockey association organized to provide the development and competition for all amateur hockey players in the Tri-Cities area. TCAHA is a non-profit organization with approximately 400 players and 25+ teams ranging in age from 4 to 18.
Our youth hockey Main Winter Season runs September through March each year. Overall, most teams play about 7 months out of each year, except our Beginner Program that can be done in 3 month sessions.
Registration for the winter season takes place during the summer. Competitive rep tryouts are generally in August and recreational house evaluations in September. For more information on these programs please go the Programs button above.
Being a player for TCAHA is a great experience and we hope you will consider being part of our team! If you have any questions regarding tryouts or our hockey programs in general, please feel free to e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
